As I mentioned in an earlier post, I sometimes indulge in a little self-Googling just to see where I pop up in the Interwebs. Today I found my book for sale in Kenya, on an Amazon-like website called Kalahari.co.ke under “Gifts.” I’m gratified to see my work span the globe, but I’m a little upset that The Forbidden Apple is selling for the low, low sale price of 1,116.71 Kenyan shillings, down from 1,395.89 Kenyan shillings. I’m also mystified as to why Kenya is still using shillings as currency.

Adventures in Google, Part 2
Continent-hopping once again, I found The Forbidden Apple on sale in New Zealand on this website for the seemingly exorbitant price of $30.99. That’s New Zealand dollars, though, which converts to a slightly less-exorbitant $24.29 US. If one purchases the book from the site, one receives 180 Banana Points good for future purchases. Kiwis: prepare your credit cards!
